On the 4th of July we had high winds that pulled off part of my roof and left a section just barely hanging on. The section that blew completely off, blew into a very busy street. Thank God it didn’t hit anyone or damage anyone else’s property, but I was very concerned about the piece still on the roof barely hanging on and concerned about the rest of the roof as well. I began calling roofing companies that all advised 24hr emergency services and only one picked up when I called and that was Martin from 2nd Storm Shield. He promptly drove an hour and 10 minutes or more to climb up on my roof in the pouring rain and secured my roof from coming further off. He performed the work quickly and safely, a complete professional! We hired them for a full roof replacement at my mother-in-law’s house, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Mr. Martin was very professional, explained everything clearly, and completed the job on time. The worksite was kept clean, and the quality of the installation was top-notch. On a Thursday Martin came to see the shed that needed a new roof and a door that needed repairing. He sent a proposal on Friday and on Tuesday he came to do the work. He brought all the materials needed for the project and the roof shingles match the house perfectly. By the end of the day, we had a new roof on our shed and a door that closed securely that looks great. We are so pleased with Martin’s work. He left the job site tidy. Wanted to give a big thank you to 2nd Storm Shield. Shortly after moving into our new home we began having a leak in the roof. Martin and his crew were able to get out quickly and identify the issue. Repairs were thorough and affordable. They were also able to take care of a few problem areas that we were not even aware of before they came a major issue. Highly recommend! Five stars!
